How to Get the Water Stone on Pokemon Silver

Nintendo released the role-playing game "Pokemon Silver" in Japan in 1999. In this game, you catch and battle Pokemon to help evolve the Pokemon you catch. However, not all Pokemon evolve just from battles and gaining experience; some Pokemon require special stones in the game, such as a water stone. To get a water stone, you must catch the Pokemon Bill asks you to catch as part of the main storyline. All routes can be found on your map.

Instructions

- 1
  Catch an Oddish. This grass/poison Pokemon is found on Routes 5, 6, 24 and 25, as well as the Ilex Forest. Return it to Bill on Route 25, and he will give you a leaf stone and your next mission.

  Catch a Vulplix; Growlithe fits Bill's description, but it is not an option on "Silver." This fire Pokemon is found on Routes 7, 8, 36, 37. Return it to Bill, and he will give you a fire stone and your next mission.

  Catch a Staryu. This water Pokemon is found on Routes 34, 40 and 41, along with Olivine Harbor, Cianwood City and Cerulean City. Return it to Bill to get the water stone.
