How to Get a Larvitar in FireRed

"Pokemon FireRed," a role playing game, was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. A remake of the original "Pokemon Red," "FireRed" lets you capture and train wild animals called Pokemon in your quest to become the best Pokemon trainer in the world. Featuring over 150 Pokemon to catch and many different areas to catch them in, finding specific Pokemon such as Larvitar can be a difficult feat for a new player.

Instructions

  Travel to Sevault Canyon. Walk inside the cave.

  Walk around the cave until a battle occurs. Battles will occur randomly in this cave as you walk around, so keep walking and battling until a Larvitar appears. The Larvitar is an "uncommon" class of monster, so it may take awhile to appear.

  Weaken the Larvitar with your Pokemon's attacks until the Larvitar's health is colored red.

  Throw a Pokeball at the Larvitar in an attempt to catch it. Use your strongest Pokeball available, such as an Ultra Ball. Keep throwing Pokeballs until the Larvitar is caught.
