Instructions
Earth Element
Travel to the Minish Village, and talk to the village Elder. He will show you a doorway to enter the Deepwood Shrine.
Navigate Deepwood Shrine, collecting keys to access new rooms in the Shrine.
Defeat the Caterpillar to earn the Gust Jar.
Battle the Chuchu by using the Gust Jar to make him fall over.
Attack the creature's head with your sword repeatedly to defeat him.
Collect the Earth Element once you defeat the Chuchu.
Fire Element
Travel to Mt. Crenel to access the Cave of Flames.
Traverse the Cave of Flames, and collect the Cane of Pacci.
Fight the Gleerok, the boss of the Cave of Flames, by positioning yourself either behind the creature or to its side and using the Cane of Pacci to knock out the creature.
Use the Gleerok's neck as a bridge to walk up to the body, and hit the center of his body before the creature awakens.
Repeat, and take the Fire Element after defeating Gleerok.
Water Element
Go to Lake Hylia to find and enter the Temple of Droplets.
Explore the Temple of Droplets, and find the Flame Lantern.
Battle the Big Octo by using your sword to volley his rock projectile attacks.
Return three rocks to Big Octo to get him to spin around.
Use the Flame Lantern to burn Big Octo's tail.
Repeat the rock volley and Flame Lantern two more times to earn the Water Element.
Wind Element
Go to Veil Falls to access the Palace of Winds.
Go through the Palace of Winds, and find Roc's cape. This item allows you to jump over chasms.
Equip Roc's cape to fight the Gyorgs, the bosses of the Palace of Winds.
Hit each of the four eyes on the small blue Gyorg, and use Roc's cape to jump to the large red Gyorg.
Use your White Sword to clone three versions of yourself to attack three of the large Gyorg's eyes. This will reveal all eight eyes.
Hit the eyes repeatedly, and return to the small Gyorg.
Repeat until you defeat the Gyorgs, and collect the Wind Element.
