The Rainbow Feather is a key item in "Pokemon: Silver." This item is required to have the opportunity to capture Ho-Oh, one of the legendary Pokemon. The Rainbow Feather, which is also called the Rainbow Wing in some versions, is given to the player as a gift, but not before a certain point in the game. Once you have the Rainbow Feather, Ho-Oh will appear on top of the tower in Ecruteak City.

     Defeat Ash Ketchum, the final trainer in "Pokemon: Silver," after obtaining all 16 gym badges in the game. He is located inside the cave to the west of Viridian City. The credits are played after defeating him, but you will resume playing after the credits finish.
