How to Clean a Game Boy Micro

The Game Boy Micro is one of the smallest hand-held portable game devices Nintendo has ever made. The Micro weighs in at 3 oz. and is just 4 inches wide and 2 inches long. One of its user-friendly features is the protective covering over the screen. Since this covering is removable, dirt and dust can get caught underneath it. Luckily, you can clean your Game Boy Micro with a few easy steps. The most important thing to remember is not to apply any water or cleaning liquid directly to the Micro, as moisture could permanently damage it.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the protective screen covering from the Game Boy Micro.

Clean off the Game Boy Micro with a dry, soft rag. Rub gently on the screen to prevent scratching. You can apply more pressure on the hard plastic parts of the device.

    • 3

Dip a small portion of the rag in soapy water and clean off both sides of the protective covering.

    • 4

Dry off the covering with the rag and place it back on the Game Boy Micro. Make sure the covering is completely dry. Any water left on the covering can damage the device.
