How to Catch All Legendary Pokemon on Red Fire

The Pokémon "FireRed" game for Game Boy Advance is a remake of the original 1996 Pokémon Red game in which a third-person player catches Pokémon. Among the Pokémon which may be encountered during game play are 10 Legendary Pokémon, some of which can be caught if the player performs the right moves. It's not possible to catch all the Legendaries in a single game session, since some are only available to certain starter Pokémon.

  Push boulders into the pits when you reach Seafoam Island to reach Articuno. Bring a level 50 Fire or Electric Pokémon to catch this Flying/Ice Pokémon. Articuno can be caught with repeated Body Slams.

  Obtain an Aurora Ticket at a Pokemon event. This the only way to travel to Island 9 where Deoxys is found. Bring a Dark Pokemon of at least level 30 that is resistant to psychic attacks. Complete a puzzle to make Deoxys appear.

  Bring a level 50 Water or Rock Pokémon to capture Entel, a level 50 Fire Pokémon. Entel can be found in the grasses of the Kanto Region. Entel will only appear if your starter Pokémon was Bulbasaur, and you have beaten the Elite Four. Disable Entel if possible, as it will run away from battle if given the chance.

  Find Ho-oh on the left side of Rainbow Island 8. You must have already beaten the Elite Four to see the Ho-oh. Bring a level 70 Water Pokémon to catch this level 70 Fire/Flying Pokémon.

  Bring a level 70 Dark or Rock Pokémon to catch Lugia on the right side of Rainbow Island 8. Lugia is a level 70 Psychic/Flying Pokémon.

  Find Mewtwo in the Cerulean City Cave after you have beaten the Elite Four and fixed the Network Machine on Island 1. You also need the National Pokédex and a level 70 Dark or Bug Pokémon. Mewtwo is brutal and very difficult to capture, and you may need as many as 60 Ultra Balls.

  Pass Mt. Ember on Rainbow Island 1 and move the boulders you see in front of you to find Moltres. Bring a Level 50 Water Pokémon and at least 30 Ultra Balls. Try putting Moltres to sleep to catch it.

  Catch Raikou with a level 50 Ground Pokémon and Suicane with a level 50 Grass or Electric Pokémon in the grasses of the Kanto Region. Raikou will only appear if your starter Pokémon was Squirtle and Suicane if your starter was Charmander. Neither will appear until you have defeated the Elite Four. Both will run from battle if they can, so disable them first.

  Fight Zapdos in the Power Plant with a level 50 Rock or Ice Pokémon. You must have Paralyze Heals available and up to 45 Ultra Balls.
