How to Beat the Elite Four in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" is a fourth generation Pokemon game for the Nintendo DS. The main objective is to collect and train Pokemon to defeat eight gym leaders and challenge the Elite Four. The player has to defeat the Elite Four back to back in order to face the Champion trainer. Defeating the Elite Four requires the knowledge of type advantage and well-trained, high-leveled Pokemon.

Instructions

      Train your Pokemon to level 55 or more. The Pokemon of the Elite Four range in levels from 53 to 66.

      Put six different types of Pokemon in your party, such as Dark, Fire, Ice, Electric, Ground and Grass. The Elite Four and the Champion, Cynthia, use Pokemon of all types.

      Purchase potions and revives at the PokeMart before challenging the Elite Four. These will need to be used during the four fights as you will not have a chance to heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center between the battles.

      Enter the Pokemon League and battle the first member of the Elite Four, Aaron. His speciality is bug-type Pokemon̵2;battle his Pokemon with a fire-type Pokemon, which has a type advantage. Fight his Drapion, the only poison and dark-type Pokemon in his party, with ground-type attacks.

      Battle the second member of the Elite Four, Bertha. Her specialty is ground-type Pokemon. Fight her with a grass-type Pokemon for type advantage or grass-type moves, such as "Solarbeam" or "Giga Drain".

      Battle the third member of the Elite Four, Flint. Flint's speciality is fire-type Pokemon. However, he also uses other types such as steel and ghost-type Pokemon. Counter his Rapidash, Steelix and Infernape with ground-type attack moves, his Drifblim with electric or ice-type attack moves and his Lopunny with fighting-type moves.

      Battle the fourth member of the Elite Four, Lucian. Lucian's speciality is psychic-type Pokemon. Fight his Mr. Mime, Girafarig, Alakazam and Medicham with dark or ghost-type attacks. His Bronzong only has a weakness to the fire-type, so attack it with that kind of Pokemon or fire-type moves.
