How to Play RAR Files in Visual Boy

Extracting the Contents with 7-Zip (Freeware)

  Download and install 7-Zip (see Resources). Follow all on-screen instructions and keep default options enabled.

  Locate the RAR file you want to play in VisualBoy, then double-click it to open in the 7-Zip File Manager.

  Click "Extract" and designate a folder for your VisualBoy game to be extracted. Click "Extract."

  Close 7-Zip, then open VisualBoy. Click "File," then "Open" and locate your newly extracted game, select it then click "Open" to load the game.

  Download and install WinRAR (see Resources). Follow all on-screen instructions and keep default options enabled.

  Click "Extract To" and designate a folder for your VisualBoy game to be extracted. Click "Extract."
