How to Get to Lugia Faster on Red Rescue Team

“Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team” is a role-playing game (RPG) for the Game Boy Advance that allows you to play as the pokemon creatures from previous “Pokemon” games. You must complete a series of missions in order to unlock new areas and advance in the game. You can befriend and play as rare pokemon, like Lugia, throughout the game. You can also catch Lugia faster if you use special items and attacks.

Instructions

  Complete the Stormy Sea mission, then recruit the Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos pokemon to unlock the Silver Trench dungeon level.

  Walk to the Town Square and talk to Alakazam by pressing the “A” button. Go to one of the legendary birds in the Friend area and you will receive the whirl symbol item that gives you access to the Silver Trench.

  Go to the Silver Trench and make it to the 99th level of the cave. You will then find Lugia and be forced into a battle.

  Press the “Select” button to open the blue gummy item from your Items list. Press the “L” and “R” buttons at the same time to throw the blue gummy.

  Press the “Select” button again and choose the friend bow item. Press the “A” button to use the bow and you will defeat Lugia. He will then be your friend.
