How to Catch the Regis in Pokemon Ruby Version

Capture a Relicanth. Relicanths aren't difficult to find, but can only be found underwater. Some good places to look for one are near Sootopolis City and Shoal Cave. You can also find them on Routes 124, 125 and 126. Once you find one, use your dive balls to capture it.

Capture a Wailord. You can find a Wailord on Route 129, but they are very rare. An easier method is to catch a Wailmer and raise it to level 40, where it will evolve into a Wailord. Wailmers can be caught with the Great or Super Rod almost anywhere there is water. Slateport City and Dewford Town are especially good places to fish for them.

Find the sealed chamber. Take your Relicanth and Wailord to Pacifidlog Town and head to the bottom left corner. From there surf to the left into the strong currents. It will take you to a small island surrounded by shallow water. Continue moving to the left while staying low in the water and surf into the current again. The current will take you into an area with two swimmers. Continue moving to the left until you reach an area of shallow water. Keep going into the current on the left until it takes you to a small area of deep water, surrounded by shallow water. Dive into the water and move down through the tunnel until you find some braille on the tunnel wall. Surface at the spot in front of the braille and you will come up inside a sealed chamber.

Open the Regi doors. Swap your Pokemon positions so that Relicanth is in the first spot and Wailord is in the last. Then move to the top of the chamber and read the middle inscription at the top of the wall. Use dig in front of the inscription and a hole in the wall will open. Go through the hole and proceed to another three set of braille inscriptions at the top of the chamber. When you read the middle inscription the screen will shake and a message will be displayed that a door opened somewhere far away.

Catch Regice. Leave the chamber and go to Dewford Town. Go north of town and surf to the left until you find a small island with a cave on it. Go inside and there will be a braille inscription similar to the previous chamber. Read the inscription in the middle and wait for two minutes to pass. A door will open and Regice will be inside. Save before you battle it and then use your ultra balls to capture it like any other Pokemon. You can reload the game if you run out of ultra balls.

Catch Registeel. Go to Lilycove City and head to the Safari Zone entrance and continue left on Route 120 until you see a staircase. Head up the stairs, through the tall grass and up another flight of stairs. You will find another cave like the previous ones. Read the inscription, walk to the middle of the cave and use fly. A door will then open. Head inside and use the same process as before to catch Registeel.

Catch Regirock. Go to Mauville City and head up n Route 111 until you reach the desert. Make your way to the bottom right corner of the desert and you will come across another cave. Read the inscription inside and then move two steps to the right and then two steps down. Use strength and then a door will open. Inside you will find Regirock and you can capture him the same way as the previous two Regis.
