How Do You Buy Advance Wars Dual Strike Skills?

Skills in "Advance Wars: Dual Strike" are not directly purchased from the Battle Maps section of the game, like Commanding Officers (CO) or new units. Any CO can equip skills ranked at the same level or below his current Force Rank. The Star rank skills must be unlocked in a different manner. Sonja's Teachings and Soul of Hachi cannot be unlocked without purchasing the Hard Campaign option from the Battle Maps shop. This will not directly purchase these skills, but it is required to unlock these two skills.

  Select "Campaign" mode from the main menu of "Advance Wars: Dual Strike."

  Complete all 28 missions in the Campaign. The Star skills will automatically be unlocked. These skills are Repair Plus 2, View Plus 2 and Sami March 2.

  Select "Battle Maps" mode from the main menu. This is the store where money earned from completing missions can be spent. Money is earned in units of gold, usually referred to as "G."

  Buy "Hard Campaign" from the Battle Maps shop for 1,000 G.

  Complete all 28 missions in the Campaign on the hard difficulty level. This will allow you to equip the Sonja's Teachings and Soul of Hachi skill to any CO capable of equipping skills.
