How to Win the Lotto in Pokemon Emerald

Since the second generation of Pokemon games, each game in the series has included an in-game lottery held in either the TV station building, the radio tower, or the department store. The Pokemon Lottery is an entirely random game that you can play once daily by visiting the NPC in charge of the game. If you win, you receive the extremely rare Master Ball, which guarantees capture of any Pokemon in the game.

Instructions

  Take your character to the first floor of the department store located in Lilycove Town.

  Talk to the girl at the right end of the counter to enter the lottery. She will tell you the day's number and will check to see if any of the Pokemon in your party and storage match up with the lotto number.
- 3
  If any of the IDs of your Pokemon match up with the day's number (all five digits), you will be awarded the Master Ball as a grand prize.
