How to Get the Regis on Pokemon Emerald Version

Surf west from Pacifidlog Town until you reach the currents. Surf south to the bottom current. Continue down into the next current, which will send you off to a rock. Surf up past the rock and then down into the current.

Surf down into one more current and it will deposit you in an area of shallow water. Take two steps to the north and then surf to the west. Use the "Dive" ability to enter the underwater cave.

You'll find a puzzle that you'll need to use the Braille dictionary in the game manual to translate Braille tablets. Proceed to the back of the room, where you'll find a Braille tablet reading "Dig Here." Use the dig ability to open a new path.

Put Wailord into the front of your party and Relicanth in the rear to trigger an earthquake and the message, "Three doors opened somewhere far away."

Return to the surface and use the "Fly" ability to go to Lavaridge City. Head into the desert and go south until you reach a large rock formation.

Stand by the Braille tablet and step left, left, down, down and then use "Rock Smash" to open a secret door. Enter the cave to battle Regirock. Wear down its health with water- and grass-type attacks until it's in the red, then use "Hypnosis" or "Sleep Powder" to put it to sleep. Throw Ultra Balls until it's captured.

Fly to Petalburg City and surf to the southwest out of the city until you reach a cluster of trees. Go past the trees until you find the entrance to a cave. Go in.

Stick to the edge of the room and run one lap around the room to make a secret door open. Enter to battle Regice. Use electric- or fire-type attacks to weaken Regice, then put it to sleep with "Hypnosis" or "Sleep Powder." Throw Ultra Balls until it's captured.

Fly to Lilycove City. Walk out to the west and continue in that direction until you hit a rock wall. Go up the flight of stairs and into the cave.

Use the "Flash" ability and a secret door will open. Go through to battle Registeel. Use fire-, fighting- or ground-type attacks against Registeel. Use "Hypnosis" or "Sleep Powder" to put it to sleep once it's weakened, then throw Ultra Balls until you capture it.
