How to Get the Sapphire on Pokemon Fire Red

While Pokémon FireRed Version is largely a straight remake of the original Pokémon Red Version, it does offer several new features, such as the lengthy Sevii Islands quest. You̵7;ll be able to explore the Sevii Islands after defeating the eight gym leaders and the elite four. As part of your quest you̵7;ll need to find the ruby and sapphire, important items that complete the Pokémon Network machine found on One Island. You̵7;ll find the sapphire on Six Island after returning the ruby to One Island.

Instructions

- 1
  Head to Six Island. Walk to the right, past the Pokémon Center and Poké Mart, until you reach a set of stairs. Head down the stairs and continue south.

  Continue south through the grassy area until you reach a second set of stairs. Head up the stairs and then head south and down a third set of stairs. Head left through the grassy area and follow the path as it loops down. Bypass the first set of stairs you see and head up the second.

  Follow this path as it loops up, to the right and then down again. You̵7;ll see a cave surrounded by water with a steel door blocking its entrance. Use a Pokémon with the Cut ability to open the door.

  Read the tablet in the center of the room and drop down the corresponding hole to reach the next room (each room has four holes). Repeat this process three times and you will reach the sapphire room. Take the sapphire and then watch the cut scene as a Team Rocket member enters and steals it from you.

  Exit the cave and use a Pokémon with the Fly ability to return to Six Island. Take the ferry to Five Island. Use the passwords ̶0;Goldeen need log̶1; and ̶0;Yes, nah, Chansey̶1; to enter the Rocket Warehouse.

  Step on the top set of arrow-floor-tiles to the left and wait while your character is transported across the screen.

  Step on the set of arrow-floor-tiles to the right to zip to the top of the screen. Use the set of tiles on the right to enter a room filled with cages. Battle the Team Rocket members here and then go to the right of the screen and use the left arrow-tiles to zip toward the bottom of the room.

  Follow the path to the right and up while avoiding any arrow-floor-tiles and battle the Team Rocket member. She̵7;ll change an arrow-floor-tile after you battle her. Step on it to enter a room with no floor-tiles.

  Continue heading north through the rooms, battling any Team Rocket members you encounter along the way. Battle the scientist in the top room and he̵7;ll return the sapphire to you after you defeat him.
