How to Plant Grass on the Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town

Walk around the town and talk to villagers by pressing the "A" button on your GameBoy Advance. Enter the store located in the Northern area of the village.

Walk up to the seeds in the middle of the store and press the "A" button. Select the "Grass" option by pressing the "A" button again. The seeds will be stored in the "Tools" section of your rucksack.

Walk back to your farm and enter the huge field. This field is where you will place sheep and cows later in the game and you can begin to grow grass for the animals to eat.

Press the "A" and "B" button at the same time to access your rucksack. Select the "Tools" section by pressing the "A" button and then select the hoe by pressing the "B" button.

Press the "A" button while in the field to till the soil for planting the grass seeds. Press the "A" and "B" buttons to access the rucksack again. Go to the "Tools" section and select the grass seeds by pressing the "B" button.

Press the "A" button to plant the grass seeds. Allow time for the grass to grow over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. You will not need to add any water to help the grass grow.
