Capturing every single Pokemon in Pokemon Fire Red for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance is a difficult task meant only for the most adept of Pokemon trainers. To gain passage to Birth Island, you will need to gain an Aurora Ticket by visiting a Nintendo-sponsored Pokemon event and visiting a Wonder Spot machine.

Getting to Birth Island

  Find a Wonder Spot. A Wonder Spot cannot be found inside the game. A Wonder Spot is actually a machine that Nintendo brings to its Pokemon social events. Wonder Spot machines have long since gone out of production, so finding one today can be difficult. You must search Nintendo̵7;s website and online forums for Pokemon events that are still utilizing the Wonder Spots. Attend the Pokemon event and connect your Gameboy Advance to the Wonder Spot utilizing your Gameboy Advance Wireless Adapter. This will give you the ability to purchase an Aurora Ticket in the game.

  Purchase an Aurora Ticket. Once you have visited a Wonder Spot, you will be able to purchase an Aurora Ticket in-game. Turn on your Gameboy Advance and load up your game of Pokemon Fire Red. Visit any Pokemart in the game. Fill out the questionnaire on the counter and put LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL as your response. The store owner will allow you access to the Mystery Gift System. Select Wonder Gift from the Mystery Gift System. Now, take your Wonder Gift to the Pokemon Center and speak to the man wearing the green hat. He will give you an Aurora Ticket.

  Trade for an Aurora Ticket. If you were unable to find or attend a Nintendo-sponsored event with Wonder Spots, you can still get an Aurora ticket. Find another Pokemon Fire Red player and trade for the Aurora ticket utilizing your Gameboy Advance Wireless Adapter. Both players must turn on their Gameboy Advances and load their Pokemon Fire Red games. While in game, select Trade from the game menu and the handheld consoles will connect. You can now trade for the Aurora Ticket.

  Travel to Birth Island. While in-game, travel to Vermillion city and head towards the sea port. Use your Aurora Ticket to purchase a boat ride to Birth Island.
