How to Get Mystic Ticket for Pokemon Fire Red

The Mystic Ticket in Pokemon Fire Red is one of the most sought after items in the game. Without a Mystic Ticket it is impossible to catch all 386 Pokemon unless you trade with someone. With the Mystic Ticket, you will be able to travel to Navel Rock Island where the legendary Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh are located. You'll need to work the game to get a gift first, but then the only place to receive a Mystic Ticket is at a Pokemon Download Event.

Instructions

  Walk to the nearest Poke Mart.

  Walk to the small clipboard located next to the shopkeeper and press "A."

  Type in the words "Link Together With All." The shopkeeper will give you access to the Mystery Gift system.

  Save and restart the game. You will now see a "Mystery Gift" option in the title menu screen.

  Use the Mystery Gift option while at a Pokemon Download Event to get your Mystic Ticket. Find out when the next Pokemon Download Event is at by visiting pokemon.com. These events are rarely held and will not always be at a nearby location. The site recommends you check back often for new download events.
