How to Get Lugia in the Pokemon Emerald Version

"Pokemon Emerald" is one of the many games to come from the Pokemon series. It plays similar to the rest of the Pokemon games, in which you play as an aspiring trainer who travels around the world in search of mystical monsters. You catch and train Pokemon and battle other trainers until you become the best Pokemon trainer. One way to win battles easily is to acquire legendary Pokemon, which have much stronger moves and higher stats than standard Pokemon. Lugia, one such legendary, can be acquired only after downloading a Mystic Ticket from a Nintendo event.

Instructions

  Attend an official Nintendo event. Check the Nintendo website for the next official event near you.

  Download the "Mystic Ticket" from the official Nintendo event. This will give you access to Naval Rock within the game.

  Head to Naval Rock and enter the only cave located in the area. When the path splits, take the right one and go down the stairs to reach Lugia.

  Fight Lugia and attack it until it is as close to one hit-point as possible. Use powers such as False Swipe and Sleep. Avoid using moves such as Poison and Burn, which might knock out Lugia.

  Wait until you have had 30 rounds against Lugia. Then throw a Timer Ball to try and catch it. If the catch fails, throw another Timer Ball until it is caught.
