How to Find Deoxys in FireRed

Deoxys, a rare Pokemon that only appears to Pokemon trainers who seek out Birth Island in ̶0;Pokemon FireRed,̶1; is one of the most difficult creatures in the game to meet, much less capture. When players arrive on Birth Island, they are forced to follow a stone around until the stone transforms into the Pokemon. Upon this transformation, players face off against Deoxys with one chance to capture the Pokemon. There is only one Deoxys in ̶0;FireRed̶1; and only one way to find him.

Instructions

  Traveling to Birth Island to meet Deoxys requires a special item known as the Aurora Ticket. Go to Vermillion City and head toward the Seagallop Ferries near the coast.

  Present your Aurora Ticket to access Birth Island. The ferry will take you to the hidden location, which does not appear on your map.

  Leave the ferry and head into the center of the triangle-shaped island. A small triangle stone will appear. Move towards it to begin the puzzle.

  Follow the stone around the island, but always head directly for the stone. For example, if the stone moves north and then east, you must also move north then east. Don't wander away from the stone or the puzzle with restart.

  Continue to follow the stone a total of 11 times. When you complete the task, the stone will turn red. Save your game.

  Walk into the stone to activate the battle with Deoxys.

  Send out Pokemon at a higher level than 40 to battle Deoxys, who has a high attack rating. Capture the Pokemon using an Ultra Ball to add him to your group.
- 8
  Leave Birth Island by ferry when you've successfully met and captured the rare Pokemon.
