What Fossils Do You Get in Pokemon Pearl?

The "Pokemon" video-game franchise has built itself on the joys of collecting. While filling your Pokedex with an entry for every Pokemon is the goal, it is the collection of rare Pokemon that drives most players. In the "Pokemon: Pearl Version," players can enter a series of caves and tunnels called the Sinnoh Underground, where they can dig up fossils and take them to scientists to be revived into Pokemon.
  1. Armor Fossil

    • The armor fossil is unique to "Pokemon: Pearl." Take the fossil to the Pokemon Museum in Oreburgh where the scientist will revive it, producing Shieldon, a rock/steel Pokemon.

    Helix Fossil

    • This fossil is a rare find in the Sinnoh Underground. Dig it up and take it to the Oreburgh museum to revive an Omanyte Pokemon. Omanyte is a rock/water Pokemon. Both "Diamond" and "Pearl" versions of the game have this fossil.

    Dome Fossil

    • Another fossil available in both "Pearl" and "Diamond," the dome fossil can be used to revive Kabuto, a rock/water Pokemon.

    Root Fossil

    • This fossil can be dug up in either version of Pokemon. Take it to the scientist at the Oreburgh Museum to revive Lileep, a rock/grass Pokemon.

    Claw Fossil

    • Dig a claw fossil out of the underground and you can have the Oreburgh Museum scientist revive an Anorith. Anorith is a rock/bug Pokemon. Both "Diamond" and "Pearl" versions of the game have this fossil.
