How to Get a Charmander

Charizard is one of the most powerful special sweepers in Pokemon and a valuable addition to any team that has room for a fire/flying type Pokemon. Charizard evolves from Charmander and in all of the Pokemon universe there is only one way to obtain a Charmander. Despite its rarity, it is not difficult to get.

     Insert your game cartridge and turn on your Game Boy Advance. Start a new game.

     Head outside and meet Professor Oak.

   • 3

     Follow Professor Oak back to his laboratory. Choose the Pokeball in the middle. That one contains Charmander.
