How to Convert a Game Boy ROM

A ROM (read-only memory file) is a copy of a game that can be converted from the original cartridge to a computer file. Converting a Game Boy cartridge into a ROM is a relatively straightforward process if you have the right hardware and software. Once you understand the process, you can convert your entire collection of Game Boy cartridges to digital media for safe keeping.
