How to Make a Game Boy Advance Case

Nothing is worse than a scratched Game Boy Advance screen. Even a relatively minor scratch can decrease visibility and interfere with your gaming ability. Not to mention that if you ever want to trade the device in, the resale value will be severely compromised. Keeping your Game Boy Advance in top shape is especially difficult because of how often the device is transported from place to place. Luckily, you can protect your precious Game Boy from injury by making your own carrying case for free.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Game Boy on the T-shirt.

    • 2

Draw a shape around the Game Boy that extends a few inches beyond the Game Boy itself.

    • 3

Cut out the shape. You should cut the shape out of both the front and the back of the shirt.

    • 4

Sew the two shapes together. Leave just enough space for the Game Boy to slide into the pouch once it is sewn.

    • 5

Sew a button to one side of the pouch.

    • 6

Cut a small slit in the side opposite the button for the button to enter into. Be careful not to make the slit too big or else the button will not hold securely.

    • 7

Insert the Game Boy Advance into the pouch and button it closed.
