Instructions
Play the tutorial. Unless you've played this a lot, you'll either need a refresher or need to know how to fight to begin with. Be aware that not all the moves the tutorial teaches you how to use are available immediately.
Accept missions from the Hokage's room, then leave town to begin them. The points on the map indicate places you can travel to. Red nodes indicate locations that are important to your current mission.
Grab the yellow and blue orbs that drop off of defeated enemies! These refill your Stamina and give you more points to spend on your Hit Points, Stamina and skills. Collect as many as you can BEFORE the fight ends! Once its over, you wont have much time to collect them.
Take a look at your Skill Plate. There are several skill plates that can be bought and found throughout the game. Each one allows you to fit certain skill tiles into it, meaning that you'll be able to add more tiles and get more skills with the better plates you get.
Use your special attacks and items! Many enemies either cannot be defeated by normal attacks or will take almost no damage from them. This is where power, clone and other special attacks come in handy.
Keep your Hit Points up! It is easy to get caught up in a fight and forget that you're about to die. If you see your Hit Points drop low, press start to access the camp, go to Items and Use Items. Look for ones that will restore your HP.
