Things You'll Need
Instructions
Clear off a workspace on a hard surface, such as a table. You will need about a square foot of working surface.
Insert the faceplate ejector tool into the ejector holes on the left side of the Game Boy. The tool was included in the original Game Boy micro package.
Remove the faceplate when it is loose. It should come off easily.
Place the old faceplate into a storage case or its original packaging. Remove the new faceplate from its packaging.
Align the tabs of the new faceplate with the slots on the Game Boy micro. The tabs are on the right side of the device.
Snap the left side of the faceplate down, securing it. It should feel snug and should not move around.
