Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a Game Cube Game Boy Advance Cable. These can be purchased from online retailers and at some specialty gaming stores. The cost of the cable is usually under $10.

    • 2

Connect the Game Cube Game Boy Advance Cable to both devices when they are powered off. Turn the Game Cube on first, then the Game Boy Advance. The two systems should sync together.

    • 3

Consider buying an accessory other than the standard adapter cable. You may also be able to find a special accessory called the Game Boy Player. This device attaches to the bottom of a Game Cube and includes several adapter ports. Though it's no longer manufactured, you may be able to find one at an online auction site.

    • 4

Connect the Game Boy Player to the bottom of your game cube through the proper serial port. The Game Boy Player includes a start-up disk that must be used with the adapter.

    • 5

Connect your Game Boy Advance SP to the lower port on the Game Boy Player, using the Game Boy Advance link cable. Insert the Game Boy Cartridge you want to play, and then power up the Game Cube.

    • 6

Not all Game Boy cartridges can be played on the Game Cube. A complete listing of compatible games can be found on Nintendo's Web site.
