How to Change Lot Classification in The Sims 2

Does the wrong crowd seem to hang out in the common areas of your new apartment building in the Sims 2? Perhaps a classy crowd that does "kiss kiss" as a greeting when your Sims only like to party? Or maybe a techno girl that wears a space suit when everyone in your building drives the most expensive cars and has kids that attend private schools? Well, changing the lot classification of the apartment building can help. Not only does it change who comes and goes, but it's usually dependent on the price of appliances and materials used in the apartment. But now, using this cheat, you can manipulate the classification of the lot.

  Enter into the apartment lot you'd like to change the lot classification for. Bring up the cheat code box by pressing Control, Shift and C at the same time. There will now be a box in the left hand corner of the screen.

  Check the lot classification first. Type "printLotClass" (without quotations) and in the exact case. This will print the lot classification as is. If it is the desired classification, leave it as is. If the classification is different, change it using the following step.

  Enter "changeLotClassification" in exact case, followed by "low," "medium" or "high" (without quotations or commas). This will effectively change the lot classification to the particular class.

  Save and exit to the neighborhood screen. Enter the lot again to apply and see the NPCs with the correct class level move in.
