Purchase or find a walk-through guide for the game. You can often find these guides at the store where you bought the game, or you can look for one for free on the Internet. Sites like the IGN website often have user published walk-through guides you can just print out.
Visit websites that offer different codes to use in the game, but be careful of the sites you visit. Many have advertisements that contain adult content.
Talk to your friends who have the game. If your friends play more than you, they might have figured out some codes or cheats all by themselves. It never hurts to ask them to share with you, but be prepared for them to stay silent. They might want to keep what they find to themselves and finish the game ahead of everybody else.
Join an online community dedicated to the game. If you find a discussion board related to the game, go ahead and post a question about cheat codes.
Look through the discussions already in progress. A lot of times, all it takes is a little searching to find that someone has asked the same question as you and has gotten an answer.
