Prepare Your PC to Enter Cheat Codes
Modify your desktop shortcut so you can enter cheats for the PC version of Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Begin by right-clicking on your current shortcut, selecting the Properties option, then adding "+set sv_cheats 1" (minus the quotation marks) to the "Target" line.
Click "OK" and start the game using the modified shortcut.
Press the "~" key on your keyboard once the game starts. This allows you to enter cheats by preceding them with a forward slash ("/").
Type /god after pressing the "~" key to play the game in "god mode."
Enter "/notarget enemies" to stop guards and foes from firing at you when they spot you. This frees you up to search for treasure and secrets, or to just kill at will.
Try the "/noclip" cheat, which allows you to walk right through walls.
Use Weapon and Ammunition Cheats
Use the forward-slash form and specify just about any weapon in the game to gain instant access to it. Precede each item from the following list with "/give". For example, if you want the Colt .45, type "/give colt" and it's yours.
Precede any of the following terms with "/give" to gain access to that weapon. The complete list includes: luger, colt, dual colts, mp40, thompson, sten, mauser rifle, sniper scope, snooper rifle, fg42 paratroop rifle, grenade (or grenades), pineapple (or pineapples), panzerfaust, venom, flamethrower, tesla gun, 9mm, 9mm rounds, 7.92mm, 7.92mm rounds, .45cal, .45cal box, .30cal, .30cal box, 12.7mm, fuel, cell and binoculars.
Gain access to all the weapons in the game by typing "/giveall".
Use Miscellaneous Game Cheats
Get important items by using the item cheats. Without the quotation marks, type "/give venom tech manual" to get the tech manual, "/give project book" to get that item and "/give dr. zemph's journal" to get your hands on Dr. Zemph's valuable diary.
Use map codes to outwit your opponents. Begin each of the following cheats with "/spdevmap" and follow the command with the specific map you want. For example, get the Mission 1 "Escape!" map by typing "/spdevmap escape" while playing. Other Mission 1 map cheats include /spdevmap escape2 and /spdevmap tram.
Sneak through Mission 2 with maps by repeating the /spdevmap command followed by any of the following keywords: village1, crypt1, crypt2, church, boss1.
Get Mission 3 maps by following up the basic /spvedmap command with forest, rocket, baseout or assault. Repeat for Mission 4 with these words: smf, factory, trainyards and swf. Get Mission 5 maps using these /spedvmap command with any of: norway, x-labs and boss2. Mission 6 maps are attainable with these keywords: dam, village2, chateau and dark. The final mission, Mission 7, can be helped along with /spedvmap combined with any of: dig, castle and end.
Use the form "/give health X" and "/give armor X" to gain specified amounts of health or armor. Just substitute the desired number for the X.
