How to Find the Secret Materia in Final Fantasy VII

In Final Fantasy VII, four pieces of secret materia are only accessible via the Golden Chocobo. These four pieces of materia will make your party an unstoppable force that no enemy in the game will be eager to encounter.

Instructions

  Mount your Golden Chocobo. If you don't have a Golden Chocobo, see "How to Breed a Golden Chocobo in Final Fantasy VII" in the Related eHows.

  Travel to the northeastern corner of the map. Search the ocean until you find a small island with a cave that isn't located on the mini-map.

  Enter the cave to claim the Knights of the Round summon materia.

  Travel to the village of Wutai.

  Travel southeast until you reach a cave surrounded by mountains.

  Enter the cave to claim the mime command materia.
- 7
  Travel to the Nibel Mountains.
- 8
  Travel directly north from the Nibel Mountain until you reach a cave.

  Enter the cave to claim the hit points-magic points switch materia.
- 10
  Travel to the Chocobo ranch.
- 11
  Travel east from the Chocobo ranch into the ocean and search for an island containing a cave.

  Enter the cave to claim the Quadra-Magic materia.
