How to Unlock Secret Characters for Marvel vs. Capcom (Dreamcast)

Play as Lilith: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Zangief. Then press Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(2), Down(4), Left(2), Up(4), Right, Left, Down(4), Right(2), Up(4), Left(2), Down(4), Right, Down. Lilith will appear below War Machine.

Note that the numbers in parentheses indicate the number of times needed to press the directional button. For example, Up(4) means press in the "up" direction four times.

Play as Roll: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Zangief. Then press Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up, Right, Up(2), Right(2). Roll will appear to the right of Mega Man.

Play as Gold War Machine: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Zangief. Then press Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(4), Right(2), Left(2), Down(4), Right(2), Up(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(5). Gold War Machine will appear above Zangief.

Play as Shadow Lady: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Morrigan. Then press Up, Right(2), Down(4), Left(2), Up(4), Right(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(2), Right(2), Up(2), Left(2), Down(5). Shadow Lady will appear below Gambit.

Play as Red Venom: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Chun-Li. Then press Right, Down(4), Left, Up(4), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(4), Left(2), Up. Red Venom will appear above Chun-Li.

Play as Orange Hulk: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Chun-Li. Then press Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(4), Down(2), Right(2), Up(2), Down(4), Up(4), Left, Up. Orange Hulk will appear above Ryu.

Play as Super War Machine: Go to the Character Selection screen and highlight Zangief. Then press Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Down(2), Left(2), Up(4), Right(2), Left(2), Down(4), Right(2), Up(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(4), Right(2), Left(2), Down(4), Right(2), Up(2), Left(2), Down(2), Right(2), Up(5).

Play as Onslaught: Unlock all the hidden character quick selects, then the Onslaught option will appear in the game menu.

Play as Evil Ryu: Press Down, Down/Back, Back, Fierce Punch (otherwise known as a Half-Circle Back Fierce Punch). You must have at least a level 1 on the super meter bar.

Play as Red Ryu, or Ken: Press Down, Down/Back, Back, Medium Punch (Half-Circle Back Medium Punch). You must have at least a level 1 on the super meter bar.

Change back to normal Ryu by pressing Down, Down/Back, Back, Quick Punch (Half-Circle Back Quick Punch). You must have at least a level 1 on the super meter bar.
