Games: How Do You Get a Rocket on Every Platform in Doodle Jump for an iPod Touch?

In the popular video game, "Doodle Jump," picking up a jetpack causes The Doodler to shoot upward at great speed past many platforms and enemies. Although it would be ideal if every platform held a jetpack, the game's not coded that way. There is, however, a hack available which plants a jetpack on every platform, allowing The Doodler to fly up and up without having to tediously jump.

Installing the Hack

  To access the "jetpack on every platform" hack, you must first jailbreak your device. There are many ways to do this and as many descriptions online of how to do it. Once your device is jailbroken, you will automatically have Cydia, a software management app.

  Open Cydia and tap the "Management" tab at the bottom of the screen. Once there, tap the "Sources" button. On the following screen, tap "Edit" in the top, right corner and then "Add" in the opposite corner. In the popup which follows, type the following address:

  Then, then tap "Add Source."

  In Cydia, tap the "Search" tab at the bottom of the screen. In the field at the top of the screen, tap in "Doodle Jump." Of the software listed, tap "Doodle Jump Hackv1.21" and then tap "Install" and "Confirm."

  Exit Cydia and open "Doodle Jump." Don't be alarmed if The Doodler is larger than normal. Begin the game and bounce upward and collect your first of many jetpacks to come.
