Invulnerability
The Xbox 360 version, PlayStation 3 version and PC version of "Grand Theft Auto IV" do not have cheats specifically designed for invulnerability, but do offer cheats that restore your health and armor fully. During game play, take out the cellphone that Niko -- the character you control -- carries with him. Dial 362-555-0100 and your health and armor will be at 100 percent. You can activate this cheat as many times as you desire within the game. Doing such will make you practically invulnerable to attack, just as long as you dial in the code before you die. If you happen to be inside a stolen vehicle when you dial in the code, the vehicle will have all damage to it fixed.
Increasing Your Odds
If you dial in the number 482-555-0100 on your cellphone during game play, Niko will obtain full ammunition for whatever weapon he is currently using. This will help you take down the thugs -- and cops -- that chase after you on the dangerous streets of Liberty City. This number -- or cheat -- will also give you full armor and health and can be used numerous times during game play. Dialing 486-555-0150 will give you access to a Molotov cocktail, a knife, a handgun, an Uzi, an AK47, a RPG, a shotgun and a sniper rifle. The more weapons you have at your disposal, the more carnage you can create on your way to beating the game.
A Wanted Man
During "Grand Theft Auto IV," you can attract the unwanted attention of the police for a variety of reasons, including killing pedestrians, having public gunfights or simply attacking a cop. The more unwanted attention you garnish, the higher your wanted level will climb. Once your wanted level reaches a certain point, the police will chase you until you outrun them. Dialing in 267-555-0100 on your cellphone will cause your wanted level to vanish, eliminating the need of outrunning the police. You can enter this number as often as you wish, making you invulnerable to the police.
Warning
While these cheats will help you outlive your opponents within the "Grand Theft Auto IV" video game, they will also prevent certain achievements within the game from being earned. For example, the full health and armor cheat will prevent the "Finish Him," "One Man Army," "Walk Free" and "Cleaned The Mean Streets" achievements from being earned. Accessing full ammunition and more weapons will not allow you to earn the "Cleaned The Mean Streets" achievement. However, this problem can be taken care of by simply not saving the game once you have activated a cheat, according to the gaming advice website Cheat Code Central. When you reload the game, the cheats will not be saved, and you can earn whatever achievement you wish.
