How to Convert GameShark to AR Max

GameShark and Action Replay are devices designed to enhance or modify video games to make playing them easier or to enable special functions. Players can use these devices to enable cheats not originally implemented by the games' designers. GameShark and Action Replay function by allowing users to manually alter game data using codes entered as hexadecimal numbers. Though the codes for the two devices are not interchangeable, the user can translate the codes using free software.

     Download and install MAXConvert from the Codemasters Project website.

     Find the "Game ID" for the game you are trying to cheat. You can find lists of Game IDs on websites containing Action Replay Max codes.

     Pick the version of GameShark you are using for the "Input" box.

   • 4

     Select "Action Replay Max" for your output.

   • 5

     Enter the GameShark code and click "Convert" to receive your Action Replay Max code.
