How to Download Game Saves From GameFAQs

GameFAQs hosts text hints and walkthroughs for an endless variety of video games. However, there may be times when a game's difficulty level prevents you from completing a section even with instructions. For this reason, many people have uploaded saved game files to GameFAQs. Download a saved game file and transfer it to your console to beat a difficult sequence in a game.

Instructions

  Navigate in your Web browser to GameFAQs.com. Type the name of the game that you want to find a saved game file for in the search field at the top of the page. Click "Go." This displays a list of games matching the title that you entered.

  Click the "Save" link next to the title of the game that you want to download a saved game file for. If the "Save" link is not blue, no saved game files have been uploaded for that title. Clicking the "Save" link displays a list of the save game files available for that game.

  Click the "Save Game File" link for the file that you want to download. Save the file to your computer, and transfer it to your console using a direct USB link, Pro Action Replay or GameShark.
