Get New Item Sets
There are four different item sets you can use at any point in the game by employing cheat codes. During normal game play press "Esc," and then click the "Unlock Content" button. For the "Shinobi Shozoku" item set, enter the cheat code "274267", and to receive the "Garb of the Great Merchant" item set, type the cheat code "925678". To use the "Armament of Germania" item set, enter the cheat code "437626", and for the "Armament of Gaul" item set, you must type in the cheat code "373624".
Defeat Bosses Easily
If you are struggling to defeat any boss in the game, you'll want to know about a useful technique to use. To begin with, you must retreat from the boss until he turns around and heads back to his starting point. When he turns his back to you, turn and move toward him again. The boss will turn around and face you again, but if you step back now, he will turn away again. You can now quickly attack the boss while his back is turned.
Avoid Being Locked in a Room With a Boss
Some bosses hide in rooms or chambers from where they are unable to leave. When you enter such a room, the door locks behind you so that you cannot escape. To stop the door closing, you must stand directly in the doorway. The boss will see you, and you can use attacks against him, but if you need to retreat you can move out of the doorway because the door will not be locked. This hint will help you avoid losing battles against a boss.
Find Extra Goodies
After you have beaten the boss Nessus, look around his camp before you leave. Behind where Nessus was standing before you defeated him you will find a majestic chest. This chest is filled with goodies for you to use within the game. If you keep looking, you will find three more chests to the north of where the majestic chest is located.
