Trainer Use Hints
Check the compatibility of the trainer you are using with your version of "Plants Vs. Zombies." Each trainer is built to work with a specific version of "Plants Vs. Zombies," and developer patches and updates can render a trainer inoperable.
Read the trainer's instructions and start the trainer at the appropriate time. Some trainers require "Plants Vs. Zombies" to be running when launched, while others require you to start the trainer before launching "Plants Vs. Zombies."
Check the status of your keyboard's "Num Lock" settings by looking at the Num Lock light on your keyboard. Many trainer activation keys will only work if the Num Lock is on or off, as keys are read differently by the trainer depending on if Num Lock is on or off.
Activate a master activation command before other trainer functions become available. The master activation command is usually the first command in the trainer's command list.
Listen for audio cues when using the trainer. Many trainers play specific sounds when their functions are activated and deactivated, and these sounds are distinct from sounds played by "Plants Vs. Zombies."
