Clans

• One of the fastest ways to level this game is to build your clan. A clan is a group of players, which means social networking is needed. You need 500 clan members to play Vampire Wars. Many groups on Facebook and MySpace are specifically designed to share user names and join popular clans. Like most social networking games, adding friends or other users allows you to receive better achievements. Adding or "liking" the official Vampire Wars application page on the social networking sites provides you with the ability to talk to other users and navigate the forums to find a clan.

Missions/Leveling

• From levels one to three, only perform missions, do not fight. This will allow you to build up your abilities quickly and fight better later. Help your clan members when they need help in their own game. Doing so will not only imply reciprocation, but will help you level your skills as well. Build up your attack and defense to double your level. When you do start fighting, start by killing those weaker than you instead of going after stronger members. If you lose the fight, you lose experience and blood. Give gifts to clan members -- you may receive a gift back. When in mazes, hit "ex" in the game to see where the exits are located. Keep your blood in the game's Bloodbank -- if you are attacked by a stronger vampire, you may lose too much blood and need more.

Money Strategies

• Money is an important factor in Vampire Wars. To conserve your money, buy minions only in packs of 10. Buying them individually is more expensive. This strategy also works for most items that can be purchased -- bulk purchases are worth saving up for, as they cost less per item.

Technical Hints

• Always save/back up your game by hitting "B." Because the game does not save automatically, you could lose hours or days of work if it you do not save continuously. Do not disconnect from the game, as it will leave your character in the game, but unresponsive -- hit the "Quit" button instead. Adding the Vampire Wars page to your newsfeed may give you the opportunity to see new developments and get free gifts and rewards for being a fan.
