How to Do Code Breaking on GTA: VCS

It can be very frustrating when you get to a level on a video game you cannot complete. Many games allow you to enter a cheat code that will make it easier to complete a level or just add more fun to proceedings. "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" ("GTA: VCS") is a version of the GTA franchise made for the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) and PlayStation 2 (PS2). There are a number of cheats available for the game which must be entered correctly to allow them to function.

  Open your Internet browser. Navigate to a website that provides "GTA: VCS" cheats, such as Supercheats or Cheats CC. Click on the browser "File" menu. Click "Print." Click "Print" in the "Printer Options" menu to print out the list of game cheat codes.

  Turn on your PSP or PS2. Open the game level where you wish to use the code. Make sure the game is running and not paused.

  Enter the code that you wish to use on the console game pad to activate the cheat. For example on the PSP enter, "Left," "Right," "X," "Up," "Down," "Square," Left" and "Right" to unlock the weapons tier containing the brass knuckles, knife, Molotov cocktails, 9 mm handgun, rifle, SMG and AK-47. A confirmation message will appear and the cheat will be enabled.
