Lode Runner Cheats

"Lode Runner" is an action game developed for the Commodore 64 in which players try to compete levels as fast as possible by running and avoiding the bad guys. Because the Commodore 64 runs on a BASIC operating system, the player can insert certain codes into the system before starting the game. These codes serve as cheats that will give the player additional powers while playing.

Invincibility
- Enter the text "POKE 7892,255" at the BASIC command prompt before starting the game to become invincible.
Set Number of Lives
- Enter the code "POKE 7636,X" at the BASIC command prompt before you start the game to play with a set number of lives. Replace the "X" in the code with the number of lives you would like to have.
Infinite Lives
- Enter the code "POKE 2710,44" at the BASIC command prompt and start the game to give your character an infinite number of lives.
Completing Levels
- To complete levels, collect all of the box objects in the level. At this point, a ladder will appear at the top of the level that you can use to exit.
