Cheats for The Curse of Monkey Island

Skip a Chapter

• During the sea fight in Chapter 3, press the "Shift" key and the "V" key at the same time and then immediately press the "X" key. If you entered the cheat code successfully, the game will automatically transport you to the next chapter. You can use this cheat only be while playing Chapter 3.

Hear Light Saber Sounds

• Use this cheat during the combat sequence involving two ships during "The Curse of Monkey Island." While the two ships are battling each other, press the "Shift" and "J" keys simultaneously. Then begin a swordfight on the ship with the character Rottingham. Instead of the usual metal sword sound effects during the sword fight, you will hear "Star Wars" light saber sound effects during the battle.

Unlimited Cannonballs

• During the first section of the game, you become involved in a heavy sea battle. You can take control of the ship's cannon to help defend against the attackers. Normally you have a limited amount of cannonballs, but entering a cheat code enables you to fire as many cannonballs as you like. To activate the unlimited cannonballs cheat, type "LAPOSTAL" while using the cannon.

Instant Win

• While losing a battle or struggling to solve a puzzle during "The Curse of Monkey Island," you can instantly win by using a cheat code. Hold down the "Shift" key and press the "W" key. If you enter the code correctly, you will automatically win the battle or puzzle at any time in the game.
