How to Get Other Characters in Street Fighter 4

Street Fighter IV is the latest installment of the popular Street Fighter video game series. This version features many of the classic characters from previous games as well as a handful of new additions. While many of the characters can be used from the start, others must be earned through in-game achievements. As each character is unlocked, it opens up the opportunity to access more characters.

Instructions

  Start the game in Arcade Mode on any difficulty setting. For the quickest process, set the difficulty to "Easiest," the rounds to "1" and the timer to "99." Choose these settings each time you play Arcade Mode with the purpose to unlock characters.

  Beat Arcade Mode with Crimson Viper to unlock Cammy; beat it with Abel to unlock Fei Long; beat it with Chun Li to unlock Gen; beat it with M. Bison to unlock Rose; beat it with Ryu to unlock Sakura; and with Sakura to unlock Dan.

  Choose any of the original characters who already beat Arcade Mode to unlock Akuma. Go through all of Arcade Mode with at least one perfect round to get a battle challenge from Akuma. Defeat Akuma to unlock him as a playable character.

  Beat Arcade Mode as Akuma. Again, play Arcade Mode with a character who already beat this mode. Finish Arcade Mode with at least one perfect round, three super or ultra combos and five first attacks to get a challenge from Gouken. Defeat Gouken to unlock him as a character.

  Defeat Arcade Mode with every character in the game to unlock Seth.
