Knight Skills
Knights have strong skills that deal a lot of damage to the enemy, making them much more suited for close combat. A knight's offensive skills include Hack, Slay, Thunderstrike, Swordfaith and Charge. Fortitude and Brace form a Knight's defensive. Buff spells, such as Might, is a passive skill that provides bonuses for both damage and armor. Recover is also useful skill in combat, enabling you to recover the caster's HP. Kaltos, Ferwin and Denever start out with some of these skills but must learn others through gaining enough experience points.
Musketeer Skills
Musketeers have a good mix of offensive and support skills that are useful for party play. Use Health before starting combat to find out how many hit points an enemy has. Ranged attacks do not carry as much power as their melee counterparts, but each has a bonus effect. Explosive Shell, Lucky Shot and Flashbang are great at battling multiple enemies at once with their scatter damage. Aimed Shot, Black Bullet and High Fire are much more precise, but you can used them only on single targets. Smokescreen, Powder Imps and Lucky Lady are all support buffs.
Priest Skills
In terms of damage output, a priest cannot compete with full-fledged offensive characters. The character does, however, have an extensive set of support buffs and debuffs to aid in combat. Heal recovers hit point of all party members. Bless increases level to one player temporarily. Sprite Summon speeds up chi recharge and has a bonus effect on ethereal damage. Chosen increases magic resistance, and Damn lowers an enemy's resistance. Priest offensive skills include Staggering Blow, Wrath, Trick and Strike. Although it may be tempting to have the Priest join other party mates in dishing out damage, he is a support-type character, and you must play him as one.
Skills
Much like other role-playing games, the skills of each character affect which set of actions a player may take. For example, frontliner skills are more offensive in nature and have the most damage output in the game. Support characters will have to contend casting buffs and debuffs to help allies while fighting hordes of monsters. The type of skills you choose will largely determine how you play the game. Skills may also be active and passive, depending on how they meant to be used. This makes for an interesting mix of strategy and cunning for the best gameplay.
