How to Convert Gameshark Codes to Action Replay Codes

Modern video games are generally far larger and more difficult to complete than those released many years ago. Third-party developers have invented a range of cheat devices, with GameShark and Action Replay among the best sellers. Cheat codes for one device will not work on another without a special conversion program called Maxconvert that encrypts and decrypts codes for nearly all cheat devices and video game formats.

Instructions

  Download Maxconvert version 0.71 from leading file sharing websites such as Codemasters Project. The program is available free of charge.

  Open the Maxconvert program and choose GameShark as the input source on the drop down menu. Ensure you select the right version of GameShark, as there are different codes for each type of GameShark device.

  Input the title and digits of the code of the cheat you wish to convert from GameShark to Action Replay.

  Choose Action Replay as the destination from the output drop down menu. The code will be quickly converted.

  Repeat the process for each GameShark cheat you want to use with Action Replay on your video game console.
