Player 1 Codes
Modify how many lives Player 1 has to make the game easier or more challenging, depending on which code you input. To give the player one life, type "DF86-070B" at the code input screen. To start with six lives, enter "D186-070B." For nine lives, enter "DB86-070B."
Player 2 Codes
If you are playing with two players, you must enter additional codes to modify how many lives the second player starts with. To give the second player one life, type "DF88-0D6B" at the code input screen. To give the second player six lives, enter "D188-0D6B." To give the second player nine lives, enter "DB88-0D6B."
Infinite Lives
Like its predecessors, "Super Double Dragon" proved challenging for many players, creating the need for cheat codes to take the edge off. One such code offers infinite lives for the player. To enable this code, type "4A86-6F05" into the code input screen. Alternately, if playing with two players, simultaneously press "Start" on both controllers once both are down to a single life each -- this cheat grants seven additional lives to each player.
Dragon Energy
Having additional lives isn't the only way to make the game easier -- overpower enemies by using Game Genie cheats to modify Dragon Power. To make the Dragon Power meter fill faster, type "DDB3-A7F1" into the code input screen. To make Maximum Dragon Power last longer, type "D7B2-A7B5" into the code input screen.
