How to Get Out of the Map on Favela

Multiplayer maps in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" have been available since the game's release in 2009. Certain glitches and holes were found within select portions of the game, and the online community quickly discovered a secret in the "Favela" stage that allowed players to move beyond the map's allocated perimeter. The glitch was eventually brought to the attention of the developers, and was removed from the game with a firmware update in January of 2010. As of March 2011, the glitch could still be accessed in versions that did not get the update.

Instructions

  Load a private match on the "Favela" map.

  Move to the lower section of the map, and travel to the warehouse in the Southwest corner. The warehouse has a forklift parked outside the main door near a billboard.

  Jump onto the roof of the blue car parked in front of the warehouse. Jump from the roof to the pile of wooden pallets, and then onto the forklift.

  Look down the sight of your gun. While aiming, crouch and look at the corner of the brick warehouse. Focus on the point for several seconds. You will then be propelled into the sky, and you will be able to walk through air and travel to any point in or beyond the map.
