Mercenaries Mini-Game
After completing the game on "Normal" for the first time, you will gain access to "The Mercenaries" mini-game. Initially, the only character available in "The Mercenaries" mode is Leon. However, by earning four-star ratings on the available maps, you will unlock more characters. For example, Ada Wong is available for use after you earn four stars on the Pueblo map. The other hidden characters are Jack Krauser, Hunk and Albert Wesker.
Operation Ada
Once you complete the main story mode, you will also unlock "Operation Ada." This mode allows you to play as a quick-footed character named Ada.
Weapons
"Resident Evil 4" features a variety of weapons to unlock. These weapons become accessible as you play through the modes of the game. For example, the Chicago Typewriter appears after you complete "Operation Ada," and the Hand Cannon appears after you receive an overall five-star rating in "The Mercenaries."
