Small Cheats
Not all cheats for "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater" will yield game play-altering results. For example, those who own a Play Station 2 may hear the character Singer whisper "snake eater" by pressing R1 during the opening intro movie. If players rotate the left stick on the Play Station controller during the intro movie, the credits will make waves.
No Pain
During the scene in which Snake is being tortured by Volgin, holding down the L2 button will prohibit Snake from receiving any damage at all. However, the L2 button must be held down until the cut scene or Snake will wind up being damaged after all.
Due Credit
During the opening scene, as soon as the Konami logo appears, pressing up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, square, triangle will change the names shown during the title sequence. Instead of character names, players will see the names of those who created the intro sequence itself.
