Hints for LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga

"LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga" compiles the two "LEGO Star Wars" games, based on the two film trilogies, into one complete volume of six episodes. In addition to advancing through the game by collecting gold bricks, you can collect a litany of other objects: studs, equipment, moves, characters and extras. Certain characters, equipment and moves may only be unlocked through purchase with studs or codes entered in the game's central mission hub: the Mos Eisley Cantina.
  1. Studs

    • Achieve True Jedi status as early in the level as possible, and then don't worry about it. You can't lose True Jedi in a level once you have achieved it no matter how many studs you lose following unlocking it. You only need to achieve True Jedi once on a level in any mode to receive the gold bar for the status.

Every gold bar after 60 will reward you 100,000 studs. As well, collecting all ten canisters and assembling the vehicle from them will reward you 50,000 studs and a gold bar, and allow you to use the vehicle in bonus missions.

Destroy everything that is made of Lego bricks, it will break apart and reward studs or other items. Similarly, explore everywhere, check every area and behind every wall. If you can't reach a certain location, try the level again in Free Play with a character who can access it.

Focus on receiving multiplier Extras. Once received they can be used in Free Play mode.

For infinite studs purchase the Fertilizer and Poo Money Extras. Go to an area with two animals and face them back-to-back with each other. Use both controllers and turn on the Extras. Repeatedly pressing a single button (the exact button depends on the platform) will collect studs for every press. This can be done as long as wanted.

    Objects

    • Each mission has a red brick. Collecting the brick and completing the level will unlock a new extra for purchase. Many useful items are available. These are also the most expensive.

Using the Exploding Blaster Bolts extra will allow shiny objects that can only be destroyed by bounty hunters to be destroyed by anyone. Fire one of these bolts on a wall or a bit of terrain near the object, and the ricochet will destroy the object. Firing directly on it will result in a harmless bounce.

Red sparklies around an object mean it will only react to Sith Force powers. Return to the object in Free Play mode with a Sith character to use them.

    Characters

    • Changing any of your custom characters or purchasing an item in the cantina will engage the game's auto-save.

Characters as well as equipment and moves are available to unlock in the Mos Eisley Cantina. You will find most codes during game play in various levels. Characters for unlocking in the cantina include Darth Maul ("EUK421"), Greedo ("ZZR636"), Jango Fett ("KLJ897") and Padme ("VBJ322"). You can use any unlocked character on any level in Free Play mode.

Obtaining bounty hunters such as Jango Fett and Greedo unlocks Bounty Hunter missions. Each completed Bounty Hunter mission awards you a gold brick.

To unlock Indiana Jones, use the door on the right of Episode VI to enter the Bonus Room. Enter the Trailers door and watch the "LEGO Indiana Jones" trailer. You can then purchase the Indiana Jones character in the cantina for 50,000 studs.
