Monster Jam: Urban Assault Tips

Unlockable Trucks

• Monster Jam Urban Assault uses popular racing trucks that take part in the USHRA Monster Jam racing series. When you first begin playing the game, a set of trucks are ready to use at your disposal. However, additional trucks from the Monster Jam series are available for unlocking, once you complete specific tasks within the game. For example, earning 10,000 points during game play will unlock The Destroyer monster truck. 50,000 points will unlock The Blacksmith race truck. El Toro Loco becomes available when you earn 70,000 points. The Suzuki truck is unlocked when you receive 110,000 points and the Maximum Destruction truck is opened with 235,000 points. Completing the Southeast races and Costal races with all first place finishes will unlock the Iron Outlaw and Pastrana 199 trucks respectively.

Hidden Tracks

• Monster Jam Urban Assault features a number of real life tracks that are used during the Monster Jam racing series. Venues such as Ford Field in Detroit Michigan or The Metrodome in Minneapolis Minnesota are playable during racing events in the game. However, not all of these tracks are available at the beginning of the game. To unlock secret tracks such as the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas or the Monster Jam World Finals you must complete each racing series while earning first place on every track. This can become challenging as you face stronger competition in the later races, however doing so will reward you with additional racing formats that can be used in single and multiplayer races.

Additional Tips

• Numerous additional tips are available for use while playing Monster Jam Urban Assault. While these tips may not bring you an easier victory, they may be a nice visual moment for fans of the game. For example, during the Mall Madness stage, as you approach the finish line, you will see a trailer attached to a truck. Driving into the trailer at your maximum speed will cause your monster truck to shoot through the overhang above the race track. Another trick that will help you earn a high score on the Sam Boyd Stadium stage requires you to complete numerous doughnuts, wheelies and endo flips when you first drive onto the track. Then you must hit the small yellow semi trailer to be rewarded with a high number of points in that stage.
